How the service works

One Taught Hour Before Any Weekly Commitment

  1. 1

    Send the student details

Tell us the student’s year, current Physics result, exam session and the topic or paper causing difficulty.

  2. 2

    We assign a tutor

We confirm the assigned tutor, their exact RM80 to RM90 hourly rate and the available times before you book anything.

  3. 3

    Take one paid trial lesson

The assigned tutor teaches a real one-hour lesson. Bring a school topic, marked test or past-paper question.

  4. 4

    Choose the next step

After the trial, stop there, continue weekly or ask whether a different tutor would be more suitable. No package is required.

Questions parents ask before booking

IGCSE Physics Tuition FAQs

Who is the tutoring service for?
The service is for Year 10 and Year 11 students studying Cambridge IGCSE Physics 0625, including private candidates. Lessons are fully online and available across Malaysia.
How much does an IGCSE Physics lesson cost?
The rate is RM80 to RM90 per hour, depending on the assigned tutor’s experience. Regular lessons normally last 1.5 hours, so one regular lesson costs RM120 to RM135. The exact rate is confirmed before booking.
Is the trial lesson free?
No. The trial is a paid one-hour taught lesson at the assigned tutor’s normal RM80 to RM90 hourly rate. It is a real lesson rather than a consultation, and no package is required afterwards.
How is the tutor selected?
A tutor is assigned from the vetted teaching team. Rig, the founder, interviews tutors, observes their teaching and checks their familiarity with Cambridge 0625 assessment. The trial then lets the student and parent assess the working relationship directly.
Should my child take Core or Extended Physics?
For the 2026 to 2028 syllabus, Core candidates are eligible for grades C to G and Extended candidates for grades A* to G. A student targeting a grade above C must take Extended. The final decision should use current school guidance, syllabus coverage and evidence from marked work.
Can online tuition support calculations, graphs and Paper 6?
Yes. A shared whiteboard allows the tutor to see each line of working, annotate questions and review circuits, ray diagrams, tables and graphs. Paper 5 and Paper 6 preparation can focus on planning, recording, graphing and evaluation skills.
What is K. S. Tan’s role?
K. S. Tan is the IGCSE Physics subject adviser and content reviewer, with more than 15 years teaching IGCSE Physics. He supports syllabus alignment and review accountability. A page only says he reviewed it after that individual review is recorded.
Start with evidence

Bring the work that is causing concern

A recent test, mock paper or repeated question type gives the trial a clear purpose. It also makes it easier to distinguish a content gap from a mathematics or examination-technique problem.

The trial is paid at the assigned tutor’s normal hourly rate. No package is required afterwards.

Not Sure Whether Tuition Is Needed Yet?

Send the student’s year, current result and the topic or paper causing difficulty. We will explain the paid-trial process and confirm the assigned tutor’s rate before booking.
